Construction Info

The multi-storey parking lot on Saint-Joseph Boulevard must be rebuilt to ensure the safety of our community. The Galeries de Hull administration team will start demolishing the parking lot in January 2024. The work will last approximately 4 months.

Access to the Saint-Joseph Boulevard parking lot will be closed throughout the project, with the exception of parking spaces near entrance #1. Entrance #4 near Marché Wakim will be temporarily closed to traffic for safety reasons.

All other entrances to the shopping centre will remain open during the project. Opening hours for our retailers and the shopping centre will remain the same, with the exception of Entrance #5 and Entrance #1, which will be extended to facilitate access to Bâton Rouge and East Side Mario's. No retailers will be relocated or closed as a result of the construction work.

Project Status

The preparatory phase has begun.

Access to the parking garage on Saint-Joseph Boulevard and entrance #4 near Marché Wakim are closed.

Parking spaces near entrance #1 remain accessible to customers. Some of these spaces will be allocated to Pharmaprix customers.

From January 14, the access ramp and pedestrian stairs will be closed to traffic for safety reasons.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which entrances remain accessible?

All entrances will remain accessible, except entrance #4 for a short time. We recommend you use entrances #5 and #6 via de la Carrière Boulevard.

Where can Wakim Market and the food court customers park their vehicle?

Customers of Marché Wakim and the food court can park their vehicle near the other entrances and get to their destination through the shopping centre. Entrance #5 is the closest to these retailers.

Where can Bâton Rouge, East Side Mario’s and Pharmaprix customers park their vehicle?

Customers of Bâton Rouge, East Side Mario's and Pharmaprix can park their vehicle near other entrances and get to their destination through the shopping centre.

Opening hours for entrances #5 and #1 will be extended during the project:

Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where can I park my vehicle during the construction work?

During the construction period, access to the parking lot will be available via de la Carrière Boulevard or Montclair Boulevard. However, the parking lot near entrance #1 will remain open, with a few spaces allocated to Pharmaprix customers.

How will you ensure that the parking lot is reserved exclusively for Galeries de Hull customers?

The parking lot is managed at all times, and will continue to be throughout the construction period. This ensures that only Galeries de Hull customers use the parking lot. We would like to remind you that the accepted parking time at the shopping centre is 4 hours.

If all parking spaces are taken, where can I park my vehicle?

The traffic attendants will ensure that spaces are fully used, and we do not expect them all to be taken. Should this happen, parking is also available on the streets surrounding the shopping centre.

How do you redirect customers within the shopping centre?

At all times, indoor digital terminals show the Galeries de Hull map near each entrance. Floor arrows have also been installed to guide you towards the stores.

How can I follow the construction progress?
