Spring has Sprung… Let’s Celebrate!

From May 1 to 7, join us to celebrate the return of spring with an efflorescence of activities! Food kiosks, inflatable structures, presentations, flower seed distribution and much more await you!

Food kiosks and outdoor activities

From May 4 to 7, come have a delicious treat in our outdoor activity area located near entrance #1, accessible through St. Joseph Boulevard. Choose your favourite treat among the following food kiosks: Monsieur Limonade (homemade lemonade) and La Cabane à Chichis (churros).


In addition, come enjoy a variety of outdoor activities for the entire family on May 6 and 7: inflatable structures, games, sidewalk chalk, skipping rope, and much more!

May 5, 10 AM to 11 AM  

Gardening presentation on creating a good vegetable garden by Horti-Cité: “10 trucs pour bien réussir son potager”. Come see them at the information kiosk on May 5, from 11 AM to 5 PM, to get more details about their services.


May 5, 12 AM to 13 AM   

Come visit the C’est quoi l’buzz? d’Alvéole? information booth to learn more about our beehives located on the roof of the shopping centre! Julie, our beekeeper, will be on hand to demonstrate her beekeeping tools and to let you taste our honey.


May 6, 11 AM to 12 PM  

Presentation on fashion trends and styles by Luce Papineau.


May 6, 1 PM to 2 PM 

Discover this spring’s makeup and beauty trends with Karine Jean Venne, beauty expert at Pharmaprix. 


May 7, 10 AM to 1 PM  

Bicycle maintenance and repair – the basics with Rack à bécik. Come learn the basics of bicycle maintenance and repair.

Activities

Face painting for children 

On May 6, from 11 AM to 3 PM, bring the little ones to get a special face painting to celebrate the arrival of spring! Come see at near the Aubainerie (entrance #6).


Flower seed distribution 

On May 6, from 12 PM to 2:30 PM, on level 1, our guest flower will distribute sunflower seeds for you to plant at home and help the Galeries de Hull bees produce more honey! Simply plant them in your garden or inside, water and watch these beautiful flowers enhance your yard or your home!  

Sale of locally produced items

Discover and stock up on locally produced items in the food court area.  


Vert Sauge flower farm 

Sale of seasonal flowers and bath products by Vert Sauge flower farm. A great opportunity to find the perfect Mother’s day gift!

“Serpuariens” electronics recycling

From May 1 to 7, bring your old electronics that are gathering dust and drop them in the bin provided to that effect located facing LaVue (entrance #5, level 1). Discover which electronics can be recycled as part of this program. 

Collection of used bicycles and parts

From May 1 to 7, bring in your used bicycles, parts and cycling accessories that you don’t want anymore! The Rack à bécik collects it all and redistributes it to Gatineau residents. You may leave your items in the area to that effect outside of the shopping centre, near entrance #1. To learn more about their services, come see their team at the information booth on May 5th, from 10 AM to 1 PM.  

Gift card promotion

From May 5 to 7, when you purchase $50 or more at Galeries de Hull, receive a $10 Cominar gift card from Galeries de Hull! Simply present your proof of purchase of $50 or more, or your receipts totalling at least $50. Go to the customer service desk (level 2, near entrance 1) to receive your gift card. One entry per person, per day. While supplies last.
